WPSU celebrates the 70th anniversary of the birth of educational television — at a 1952 conference at the Penn State Nittany Lion Inn — by handing out free ice cream from Berkey Creamery and commemorative laptop stickers at the University Park, DuBois and Altoona campuses.
On Wednesday, April 20, faculty and staff gathered in the DEF Building to enjoy lunch and celebrate service anniversaries for Penn State DuBois employees. Jungwoo Ryoo, chancellor and chief academic officer, presided over the event, thanking each person individually for their contribution to the campus and commitment to the University.

After two days of grueling double-header playoffs, the team ended their regular season and are anxiously awaiting the USCAA Bid Show this Sunday to see if they've earned a bid to the USCAA Small College World Series.
The Hiller Student Union transformed into an "Old Hollywood" themed banquet to recognize the academic achievements, involvement in clubs, organizations, leadership initiatives, and intercollegiate athletics. The Recognition and Awards Banquet celebrated the return to in person events by combining the Student Government Association Banquet and the Honors Convocation events into a single congratulatory evening. Students, faculty, and staff dressed for the occasion in sequins, feathers, and even a couple of bowler hats.

The USCAA Small College World Series for baseball and softball is back in DuBois. The first day of tournament play ended in a split for Penn State DuBois, with softball falling and baseball continuing on in the winner's bracket.
