DuBOIS, Pa. — On Wednesday, April 20, faculty and staff gathered in the DEF Building to enjoy lunch and celebrate service anniversaries for Penn State DuBois employees. Jungwoo Ryoo, chancellor and chief academic officer, presided over the event, thanking each person individually for their contribution to the campus and commitment to the University.
In addition to a catered lunch, those celebrating anniversaries each received a gift from the chancellor’s office in recognition. Congratulations to those celebrating many years of service.
Five years: John Brennan, director of continuing and community education; Marcie Brubaker, assistant student engagement coordinator; Jessica Mondi, director of marketing; Tammy Pesce, financial aid coordinator; Selena Price, lecturer of criminal justice; and Kim Shaffer, technical services personnel.

15 years: Mary Doty, lecturer of human development and family studies; Bobbie Jo Decker, technical services personnel; Amy Fatula, assistant teaching professor of occupational therapy; Steve Harmic, strategic communications director; Patti Maholtz, administrative support assistant, enrollment; Tammy Ott, lecturer of mathematics; Tharren Thompson, adult enrollment coordinator.
Longtime employees also celebrated milestone anniversaries with Penn State DuBois.
20 years: Mary Vollero, associate teaching professor of art.
25 years: Brian Hart, director of information technology.
30 years: Kathy Neureiter, business services.
35 years: Melissa Duttry, director of enrollment.
Of her time at Penn State DuBois, Neureiter said, “My favorite memories of my time at Penn State DuBois have been about getting to know the diverse backgrounds of my fellow employees and participating in an enormous number of workshops. Celebrating the cultures of those that differ from mine has given me endless pleasure and has been such a high point in my career.”

Duttry, who is celebrating 35 years at Penn State DuBois has a great love for the Penn State DuBois campus, colleagues, and students alike. “I continue to see it as an honor that the students select us as the place to continue their education. I’ve been so fortunate to have been surrounded by a great community of staff and faculty over the years, and I’m especially grateful for the friendships I have made.”
