The Penn State DuBois volleyball team hosted PSUAC opponent Shenango on Saturday afternoon with a 25-15 first set victory, and go on to win the next two sets to take the match, 25-17 and 25-20.

In honor of her 33 years of service to Penn State, the Madlyn Hanes Scholarship Endowment for Academic Excellence has been established at Penn State DuBois. The initial endowment of $50,000 was raised through Penn State DuBois Development with contributions from donors and friends of the campus, and the scholarship celebrates Hanes’ retirement on Aug. 1, from her post as Penn State's senior vice president of Commonwealth Campuses and executive chancellor. Funding will be used to recruit and retain students for the Honors Scholar Program and other high-achieving students attending Penn State DuBois.
Students in the Penn State DuBois Human Development and Family Studies program had a unique opportunity on Oct. 12 when Pennsylvania’s second lady Gisele Fetterman paid them a virtual visit via Zoom. Fetterman visited with students in the class HDFS 397: Latino/a Families, a special-topics course addressing unique issues faced by Latino families in the U.S.
Rawland Cogan, a graduate of Penn State DuBois and president and CEO of the Keystone Elk Country Alliance, has been named a 2021 Penn State Alumni Fellow. He was nominated for the award by Penn State DuBois.
All faculty and staff at Penn State locations where work is being conducted under federal contracts are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Dec. 8 under President Joe Biden’s recent executive order requiring vaccination for federal contractors, Penn State has determined.
