General Information and Frequently Asked Questions
Penn State DuBois realizes that orientation is a process rather than an event. With this in mind, our orientation program is designed to help you become comfortable with and knowledgeable about the campus during the summer, prior to your beginning classes on August 21, 2023.
First comes New Student Orientation, ROAR. This program is scheduled by student preference. Information about how to schedule this day will be emailed to you and will be held in person. This program will include your meeting with an academic advisor to schedule your fall semester classes, give you information about your placement tests, financial aid information, etc. For questions about Phase 1, please contact the Advising Center at (814) 375-4796.
New Student Orientation, PRIDE Welcome Days process will take place on THURSDAY, AUGUST 17 and FRIDAY, AUGUST 18. All new students will have an opportunity to meet and interact with their fellow students, as well as to begin to receive important information on how the University and campus works. These days constitute the official opening of the academic year with our Campus Convocation, and include information on both academic and out of class programming. STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND BOTH PHASES. For questions about Phase 2, please contact Student Affairs at (814) 375-4766.
