In the second game in as many days, Penn State DuBois men’s basketball came away with a 90-87 win over visiting Penn State Schuylkill. Schuylkill, who didn’t play the night before, lead 13-11 6 minutes into the game. DuBois looked to find their legs after winning against Penn State Hazleton 81-69 the night before. Both sides would battle for the rest of the first half, at the buzzer freshman PG Kendrick Maye (Woodbridge, Virginia) would nail a pull up 3 point shot that Steph Curry would be proud of.
Penn State DuBois has announced that Makenzie Lukehart of Glendale High School has decided to continue her academic and athletic basketball and softball careers at Penn State DuBois. Lukehart is a member of the National Honor Society and President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
As this year's THON, slated for Feb. 16-18, quickly approaches, three dancers from Penn State DuBois are preparing to give their all at the nation's largest student-run philanthropic event. Alaina Shaffer of Clearfield, Brynn Morgan of Grampian, and Julia Test of Curwensville will represent DuBois as the official campus dancers during THON 2018. They have been challenged to stay on their feet for 46 hours during the dance marathon at the Bryce Jordan Center, alongside thousands of students from all Penn State locations.

A group of Penn State DuBois students spent Martin Luther King Jr. Day in service to others in the DuBois community. Austin Miller, Alex Davis, Duncan LaValle and Ryan Lingle all chose to spend the day on, not off, in the Penn State tradition of the MLK Day of Service, honoring King's own dedication to service of others.
Students from six Penn State campuses, including Penn State Behrend, participated in public service projects in Erie on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. They repaired bicycles, ran bingo games and sorted clothes at a community shelter.
A new wine to be released by Starr Hill Winery will support Penn State DuBois athletic programs. The winery will donate to campus athletic programs a portion of the proceeds from each bottle of "Peeled" sold. The wine was created by Penn State DuBois Instructor in Human Development and Family Studies Marly Doty.
The Penn State DuBois Lady Lions basketball team put together a solid defensive game as well as an explosive fourth quarter on Tuesday evening to down Central Penn College 75-49 to pick up its 10th win of the season.
The Penn State DuBois men's basketball team had five players score in double figures and shot 55.6 percent from the floor —including 11 of 20 from the behind the 3-point line — to beat Penn College 100-91 in overtime on Jan. 9
The Penn State DuBois Baseball coaching staff and players will host the spring 2018 baseball clinics for youth on Feb. 10 and 11, at The Baseball Bank, 309 Aspen Way in DuBois. They'll also be joined at the Pitching/Catching Clinic by special guest T.J. Gornati, who has played for the San Francisco Giants and the Toronto blue Jays. In these clinics, participants will work with the baseball team and coaching staff to learn the basic mechanics of hitting, fielding, and pitching, and take part in drills and activities to help them develop these skills.
