Fairman Family Foundation first to support LaunchBox Initiative

With a $25,000 gift, the Fairman Family Foundation Endowment for the North Central PA LaunchBox Powered by Penn State DuBois has been established. This makes the Fairman Family Foundation the inaugural donor to support this initiative, with other donors in line to make similar commitments.

Benefit celebration to feature winner of NBC's 'America's Got Talent'

Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., winner of season six of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” will headline this year’s Penn State DuBois Benefit Celebration, slated for 6 p.m. Oct. 12 at the DuBois Country Club. Tickets go on sale July 1 for this unique event, which will see Murphy perform favorites from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and other classics.

Tax Credit Seminar attracts regional attention

Entrepreneurs, business leaders and government officials from across Clearfield, Jefferson and Elk counties attended a tax credit seminar on June 20. in the DEF Building at Penn State DuBois. The seminar was hosted by the North Central PA LaunchBox and the North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission.

LionPATH system offline for upgrades July 4, - July, 7

Penn State has announced that LionPATH will be unavailable from 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 4, until the afternoon of Sunday, July 7, while the system is upgraded. LionPATH is used to manage student accounts, to register for classes, and more. Anyone who attempts to log in during the upgrades will be redirected to the LionPATH Support website.

Nellis named Athletic Director of the Year

Penn State DuBois Athletic Director Ken Nellis was named the 2019 USCAA Athletic Director of the Year for his continued service to student-athletes, his successful department, and his roles in running the USCAA Wrestling Championship Tournament and major contributions in running the USCAA Small College World Series for both baseball and softball.
