This summer, the Penn State DuBois Wildlife Technology Program earned a continued five-year accreditation with the North American Wildlife Technology Association (NAWTA). The program has been accredited by NAWTA for 35 years, and it is the only accredited two-year wildlife technology program in Pennsylvania.
The need for metal-machining workers in the region continues to grow, and Penn State DuBois, in conjunction with Workrforce Solutions of North Central Pennsylvania, has developed an entry-level training to help get more operators into the local industry.
