Penn State DuBois took a road trip to Washington, Pennsylvania, Tuesday night to take on Penn State Fayette in a single, nine-inning PSUAC West Divisional matchup. Coach Calliari gave the start to Brandon Orsich (Clearfield) who came into the game 3-0 on the season. DuBois would take the victory 8-1.
Penn State York came to town Monday night to take on DuBois in a single, nine-inning game at Showers Field. Coach Calliari gave Blaise Roush (Mifflin) the nod to start on the hill for DuBois. Calliari would use seven pitchers in this extra-inning game, but it was worth it in the end as DuBois pulled off the victory, 7-6, in 10.
Penn State DuBois baseball hosted a double header against Mont Alto on Saturday in not only a divisional match-up, but a match-up between the two teams that are tied for first place in the PSUAC West Division. DuBois would come out on top in the first game, 5-0, but drop the second game with Mont Alto winning 2-1.
Penn State DuBois students recently came together to assemble care kits for women who are victims of domestic or sexual violence. The kits were donated to PASSAGES Inc., a victim advocacy group serving Clarion, Clearfield and Jefferson Counties.
Alaina Shaffer, prevention education coordinator at PASSAGES, Inc. accepted the donation of items for care kits from Penn State DuBois Student Affairs.
Penn State DuBois baseball played host to Penn State Greater Allegheny on Tuesday night at Showers Field for a single game PSUAC West Divisional matchup. DuBois came into the game in second place in the West, with Greater Allegheny hot on their heels in third place. DuBois would end with the win, 14-4.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health recently announced the dates for phases 1B, 1C and 2 of the commonwealth’s COVID-19 vaccination distribution program and Penn State is strongly encouraging all students, faculty and staff to sign up to get a vaccine as soon as they are eligible to receive one.
