Penn State DuBois and Penn State Altoona will each offer in-person sessions of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Class for General Industry this August, providing essential training for workers across a wide range of industries.
Eight research projects have been selected for support from the Penn State Commercialization GAP Fund. The GAP Fund is a competitive internal program designed to help promising technologies bridge the gap between academic research and industry adoption. Funded by the Penn State Research Foundation and administered by the Office of Technology Transfer, the GAP Fund is the University’s only institution-wide initiative focused on identifying and accelerating high-potential technologies while they are still within the academic environment.

Penn State DuBois' Continuing Education program is now taking applicants for a new Licensed Practical Nursing program that will begin in August. The non-credit, 18-month clock hour certificate program will launch at Penn State DuBois beginning Aug. 18, offering a part-time path for students to enter the nursing profession.
