The Nittany Lion Shrine basks in the early morning sunlight on a crisp, autumn day. The shrine, cut from a 13-ton block of limestone by Heinz Warneke and Joseph Garatti, was dedicated in October of 1942 and celebrated it's 77th birthday Oct. 24.

Students in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Penn State DuBois have donated “busy bags” for use at area shelters that serve families who have been displaced by domestic violence. They collected items through donations from faculty, staff and students at Penn State DuBois, and assembled the bags for use by children age 3 and up.

DuBois Area High School takes fourth consecutive win in BEST Robotics contest

DuBois Area High School has taken the top spot in the BEST Robotics Contest at Penn State DuBois for the fourth year in a row. Taking first place in BEST means the team's performance in robotics, their engineering design notebook, marketing plan, and other areas of the competition were all tallied and combined for a total score. This gives DuBois a bid to advance to the regional competition planned for Dec. 7, and 8, in Denver, Colorado.
