The Penn State DuBois Women's Volleyball team opened their season with a 3-0 win against Penn Highlands Community College on Saturday. The first of two games went down to the wire, but the Lady Lions pulled off both wins by scores of 26-24 and 27-25. In the third game, the Lady Lions settled in and won convincingly by a score of 25-12.

For the fourth year in a row, a national robotics competition for middle and high school students is taking place at Penn State DuBois. An official kickoff for the 2017 BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology) Robotics Competition took place in the student union Sept. 9. The competition is set for Oct. 20-21 in the campus gymnasium.
Penn State DuBois' campus police officer John Licatovich is sporting a new haircut for a good cause. Licatovich, with other officers from departments around the area, participated in "Buzz for Brock" this week at the DuBois City Park.
