CBT Bank of Clearfield has made an additional gift of $5,000 to CBT Scholarship at Penn State DuBois. The bank has pledged to make annual contributions to the fund, which will be distributed in its entirety to qualifying students each year.

In a continuing effort to strengthen community relationships, Penn State DuBois Chancellor M. Scott McBride, as well as Assistant Professor of Engineering Ram Rajagopalan, made presentations to the Rotary Club of DuBois at the group's meeting on Oct. 17.

Members of the Penn State DuBois Human Development and Family Studies Club paid a visit to the Child Advocacy Center in Clearfield on Oct. 13. They donated scarves, gloves and hats for children in need. They also received a tour of the facility, and met with Director Mary Tatum, as well as Clearfield County District Attorney Bill Shaw.
In an exciting match the Penn State DuBois Lady Lions defeated Penn State Beaver 3-1 this week. The DuBois Lady Lions pulled out the first two sets 25-19 and 25-18. In the third set Beaver rallied back to 23-21 to win the set 25-23. However, DuBois rallied back and won the fourth game convincingly by a score of 25-10.

The Penn State DuBois Golf Team won its second PSUAC Championship on Tuesday with an overall score of 635 in the two-day event. Coaches Vic Gearhart and Ron Cavaline had the team ready for the tough competition at the Blue Course at the Penn State University Park campus.
