This program and partnership are made possible by Penn State Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), which will be held Nov. 16-20. Penn State GEW partners with Invent Penn State to help advance economic development, student career success and job creation. These efforts aim to create unique opportunities for student engagement and build upon classroom learning with real-world interactions within and outside of the University community.

Wagner is responsible for the center’s field service initiatives, including the development and delivery of technical services for the Main Street America and Urban Main programs, professional development programming through the Main Street America Institute, and directing the center’s research agenda.

Wagner will present a holiday shopping season outlook with tips on how downtown areas can encourage holiday shopping at small businesses.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is a collaboration between the University and local communities across the commonwealth. Penn State GEW works closely with the Centre County and Commonwealth Campus communities to provide educational and experiential opportunities for professionals and participants interested in engaging with local businesses. In addition, all students, regardless of college affiliation or major, are invited to attend any GEW event that interests them.
