Students and professionals in the Occupational Therapy field experiment with items used to help patients increase focus and attention during an Assistive Technology seminar at Penn State DuBois.
Students, as well as working professionals, got an up-close look at some of the latest equipment and techniques used in the field of occupational therapy at Penn State DuBois on Wednesday, at an assistive technology seminar hosted by the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and Penn State DuBois Continuing and Community Education.

Three individuals were recognized by the Penn State DuBois Alumni Society on Oct. 12 for their success and steadfast support of the campus at the annual Alumni Awards ceremony, held during the Penn State DuBois Benefit Celebration at the DuBois Country Club. Richard Ogden received the Lifetime Achievement Award, Anita McDonald the Distinguished Ambassador Award, and Craig Hicks the Outstanding Alumni Award.
Authors Lee J. Stout and Harry H. West will discuss their book “Lair of the Lion: A History of Beaver Stadium” at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Penn State DuBois Library, located in the Hiller Building. The event is free and open to the public.
On Oct. 9, Clearfield County, on behalf of the North Central PA LaunchBox and Penn State DuBois, was awarded $725,850 by the Appalachian Regional Commission to develop and strengthen the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
