An Assistive Technology Fair held at Penn State DuBois on Nov. 9 featured a dozen vendors from around the area who offer specialized equipment to assist people with special needs in completing tasks around their home, in the classroom, or at work.
The Penn State DuBois Volleyball Team claimed some top awards while closing out a successful 20-6 season. Head Coach Dave Alberts was named Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) Coach of the Year. The Penn State DuBois Human Development and Family Studies Club is seeking donations for holiday care packages to be distributed to local shelters. The packages will be donated this Thanksgiving to community shelters that support people who are homeless or victims of domestic abuse in Clearfield, Jefferson and Elk counties.
