One of Penn State DuBois’ retired faculty members continues to receive accolades for his career accomplishments. Distinguished Professor of English Emeritus Richard Kopley was recently presented with the Lifetime Achievement and Service Award by the Poe Studies Association at the 2018 International Poe and Hawthorne Conference in Kyoto, Japan.
The 2018 Small College World Series Champion Penn State DuBois baseball team is ready to take the field again for a short “fall ball” season. They’ll kick things off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, as they play host to Jamestown Community College in a doubleheader at Showers Field.

On Friday night, the Penn State DuBois Lady Lions traveled to Butler to take on BCCC for their first match of the season. DuBois won three straight 25-19, 25-20 and 25-14.
Penn State DuBois, in conjunction with Penn State Berks, will bring to the region a certificate program in the field of automation. Process Instrumentation and Control is geared for individuals looking to enter or move up within the field of automation. This three-course certificate program also will help attendees better manage employees working in this field of technology.
