We Are Weekend: Penn State DuBois homecoming weekend set for April 11-12

DuBOIS, Pa. — We Are Weekend, the second annual homecoming weekend for Penn State DuBois, is scheduled to take place Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12, with multiple events and activities.

The weekend’s events are a collaborative effort between the DuBois Educational Foundation, the Penn State DuBois Alumni Society and Penn State DuBois. All proceeds from these events will support campus initiatives.

Friday, April 11:

  • 6 p.m. - Penn State DuBois Alumni Tailgate: Penn State DuBois Nittany Lions Baseball takes on Penn State Greater Allegheny in a double header at Showers Field. This event is sponsored by the Penn State DuBois Alumni Society and is free.

Saturday, April 12:

  • 9:30 a.m. – Lion Roar 5K and Fun Run: Registration opens at 9:30 am at the Penn State DuBois PAW Center, with the race beginning at 10 a.m.
  • 11 am – Adult Easter Egg Hunt: The Penn State DuBois Business Society students are hosting an Adult Easter Egg Hunt, registration begins at 11 am in the DEF Building lobby, and a $10 entry fee will benefit the Autism Tough Foundation.   • 6:30 pm – Lions, Legacy, and Laughter: This evening of entertainment begins with music by HardTack, drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and 50/50. The Penn State DuBois Alumni Society will present their annual awards, followed by live entertainment with Happy Valley Improv.
