Penn State DuBois contributed $25.9 million to the Pennsylvania economy in FY 2017, and supported, directly and indirectly, 347 Pennsylvania jobs. A new study released Feb. 26 by Penn State focused on measuring the University’s impact in communities across the Commonwealth.

A group of 19 Penn State DuBois students have returned from a spring break trip with new experiences and a fresh perspective on a number of social issues. Rather than spend the break on vacation, these students chose to participate in Alternative Spring Break, and travel to Washington, D.C., where they spent their break helping people who are homeless or living in impoverished conditions.
The 12th annual DuBois Educational Foundation Lion Wine and Cheese fundraiser to support Penn State DuBois athletic and student events is planned for 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, at Luigi's Villa, located at 800 W. Weber Ave. in DuBois.
In celebration of Startup Week, April 1-5, Penn State DuBois will offer the program, “So You Want to Start a Business." Open to all members of the public, as well as faculty, staff and students, the event is planned for noon until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, in the Hiller Student Union at Penn State DuBois.
