Lukas Salvo started his educational journey at Penn State DuBois as a business major. He quickly realized it wasn’t what his passion truly was, and found the perfect solution in the human development and family studies major, while also being a baseball student athlete and an Honors Scholar.
Tickets are available for the annual DuBois Educational Foundation Lion Wine and Cheese fundraiser to support Penn State DuBois student services, activities, events and athletics. The event is planned for April 15 at the PAW Center, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
Ups and downs, highs and lows. Every sports team goes through them at some point in its season. For the baseball and softball teams at Penn State DuBois, those ups and downs have shown up at the start of the season. However, several students from Penn State DuBois and Penn State Greater Allegheny took their spring break trip to another level through the alternative spring break program.
High school students from numerous schools in the region came to Hiller Auditorium at Penn State DuBois on Thursday for the 33rd annual senior scholastic challenge. Six schools were represented at the event, which tested knowledge in numerous subjects.
Student bocce players from around the region recently gathered at the PAW Center on the campus of Penn State DuBois to compete in the interscholastic unified sports bocce regional championship. Eight teams from several area schools competed for state qualification spots that were up for grabs for the top two teams.
