Amy Fatula, academic fieldwork coordinator and assistant teaching professor in the Penn State DuBois Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program at Penn State DuBois, has been elected to the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association Board of Directors as the OTA at large representative for the state.

LaunchBox unveils Idea Lab, prototyping program with advanced 3D printers

Local manufacturers, students and entrepreneurs now have an opportunity to produce prototypes and reengineered parts utilizing the advanced additive manufacturing equipment now located at Penn State DuBois. The state-of-the-art Makerspace and Idea Lab will be available to students, entrepreneurs and existing companies looking to expand their innovative environment starting this fall.

The Idea Lab at Penn State DuBois features 10 3-D printers and a variety of other equipment that will be open for use to help budding entrepreneurs, existing business owners, and students bring ideas to life.

David and Deborah Ross establish endowment for North Central PA LaunchBox

Longtime campus supporters David and Deborah Ross have established a new endowment that will support efforts of the North Central PA LaunchBox powered by Penn State DuBois. The Dr. David S. and Deborah M. Ross LaunchBox Endowment at Penn State DuBois was established with the couple’s initial $100,000 pledge, and Penn State will match that amount, resulting in a $200,000 endowment supporting the LaunchBox.
