As the calendar passes the halfway point of April, the baseball and softball teams at Penn State DuBois are preparing to close out their regular season schedules. With a busy week ahead for both teams, the Nittany Lions and Lady Lions will both be looking to build momentum in their push towards the playoffs in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference.
Students, faculty, staff and members of the community came to Penn State DuBois today to celebrate Earth Day. The gym floor at the PAW Center featured numerous educational exhibits and several local organizations and businesses that highlighted their sustainability efforts.
Students, faculty, staff, friends, family and members of the community all gathered at the PAW Center, on the campus of Penn State DuBois, to recognize academic achievements, involvement in clubs, organizations, leadership initiatives, and intercollegiate athletics at the annual Recognition and Awards Banquet.
Although some cooler morning temperatures might make some think about the start of the spring sports season, the reality is that the end of the regular season for spring sports at Penn State DuBois is upon us. With the championship playoffs in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference on the horizon, the baseball and softball teams both looked to close out their conference seasons on a high note.
Penn State DuBois and Continuing and Community Education are teaming up with Workforce Solutions for North Central PA and some of the region’s leading metal manufacturers to develop a program for graduating seniors that will connect them to one of the region’s most in-demand jobs.
