With the fall academic semester now in full swing, the Nittany Lions and Lady Lions athletic teams at Penn State DuBois are also seeing their seasons get started. The fall season will see men’s and women’s cross-country, co-ed golf and women’s volleyball play through their respective seasons. Also, the fall will feature several games for both the baseball and softball teams as well.

Since 2017, the Jay and Betty Pifer Scholarship has supported students at Penn State DuBois and in the College of Engineering who are striving toward their goal of earning a degree. First endowed with a $25,000 gift from the Pifers, the scholarship has now grown to have a profound impact that honors the great legacy of the Pifers.
