As students received their diplomas at Penn State Brandywine’s spring commencement ceremony, the campus continued its tradition of allowing each student a few moments to share thoughts about their college experience. Women’s basketball player Cashae Hinton, who scored 1,176 points while twice earning All-American and All-Conference honors, thanked those who helped her complete a degree in human development and family studies.

Kirsten McWilliams celebrates with friends and fellow Penn State York students following the commencement ceremony on Friday, May 5 in the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (The Pullo Center) on campus. McWilliams graduated with a bachelor of science in business and was a Graham Fellow. She also already has a job! During his commencement address at Penn State DuBois Friday evening, state Rep. Matt Gabler encouraged student to find fulfillment in work, as well as life, in order to reach their full potential as productive citizens.
State Rep. Matt Gabler offered the commencement address at ceremonies held Friday evening, May 5, in the gymnasium at Penn State DuBois. Baccalaureate and associate degrees were conferred by Chancellor M. Scott McBride. Academic Awards for highest GPAs were presented to Brendan Keegan for associate degrees and Shalane Read for baccalaureate degrees.
