Amber Metzger, LAS student, Brookville, PA
Amber Metzger is attending Penn State DuBois to obtain a degree in Letters, Arts, and Sciences with a minor in Women’s Studies. She is currently a junior here at Penn State DuBois. Amber is originally from South Dakota and she came to Penn State DuBois to obtain a degree that would be recognized around the world. She is the President of the Student Government Association. Amber says, “The purpose is to represent the general welfare of the students at Penn State DuBois.”
Tamera Anthony, HDFS student, Brookville, PA
Tamera Anthony is an HDFS major at Penn State DuBois. This semester she is a junior. She does work study in the Office of Student Engagement on campus. The front desk is where you will find her answering the phones, managing the switch board, meeting and greeting students, parents and visitors, along with helping out with projects that may arise within the department. In the future, Tamera plans on going to graduate school to become a psychologist. Tamera loves cross country and she belongs to the Otaku club. Her favorite quote is from Harry Potter: "Happiness can be found in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light."
