To kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, in October, Penn State DuBois students will hold Hispanic Heritage Day from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1. All members of the public are invited to this family-friendly, child-oriented event.
Children of all ages will have opportunities to learn about Hispanic culture by participating in fun activities that involve art, dance, music and games. Kids also can learn how to make their own pottery, masks, musical instruments and more.
Events will take place at locations throughout the campus. For a full list of activities, visit http://www.ds.psu.edu/31806.htm For more information, contact Debbie Gill at 814-375-4783.
