Supervisory courses for professionals to be offered on campus

DUBOIS, Pa. — A series of courses offered through Penn State DuBois Outreach this spring are designed to help supervisors become more effective and efficient leaders. The Supervisory Essentials Series is an eight-class training opportunity for supervisors at all levels of experience.

Classes may be taken individually, or any combination of available classes may be chosen. All classes will meet on from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays in the DEF Building at Penn State DuBois. They include: Meeting Supervisory Responsibilities on April 11; Communicating Effectively on April 18; Building Work Relationships on April 25; Coaching and Providing Feedback on May 2; Leading Others on May 9; Resolving Conflicts on May 16; Coaching Across the Generations on May 23; and Building a Positive Work Climate on May 30.

The registration fee per class is $149. Those who register for four or more classes, as well as companies who register four or more employees, will be eligible for discounts.
