All members of the community are welcome to attend a program explaining the ideals of leadership and organizational success in Seneca culture.

Flip White, former director of career development with the Seneca Gaming Corporation of Salamanca, New York, is slated to speak at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, in Room 228 Swift at Penn State DuBois.

According to White, "It’s about a way of thinking and being." White will discuss topics of organizational structure, leadership, peace, power, the Good Mind, holistic wellness, and community building through the eyes of the Native American. In addition, he will also demonstrate the necessary alignment of the people, the law, and their way of life, and how these three components intersect to nurture a greater potential and future for individuals, communities and organizations. These thousand-year-old ideals remain to this day the core of Haudenosaunee culture, sovereignty, and survival.

An RSVP is appreciated by those planning to attend, and can be made to Stefanie Penvose at 814-375-4761 or [email protected]
