DuBOIS, Pa. — The Penn State DuBois men's basketball team traveled to Penn State Beaver on Thursday, Jan. 13, for its first conference game since last semester. DuBois suffered a 65-58 loss with an ever-changing roster due to the health and safety protocols.
Although DuBois would go to the locker room down by 11 points, the team's resurgence in the second half had DuBois fans feeling good about the rest of the season.
A strong showing by Zayver Craft helped boost the DuBois offense as he put up nine points in the second half, along with eight points from Guy Anthony. DuBois continued to battle, and won the second half of the contest, 33-29. Unfortunately, not enough time was left, and DuBois couldn't overcome the first-half deficit.
Craft ended the night with 16 points on 50% shooting and also pulled down seven rebounds. Anthony finished the game with 10 points, while Jaiquil Johnson added 14 points.
