Green Dot training

Green Dot Penn State Behrend

Penn State is working with Green Dot to offer bystander intervention training to teach people the skills to step in and diffuse potentially problematic situations. As part of that, a student group at Penn State Behrend has been asking students to sign green dots saying what they would do.

Farmers National Bank supports Penn State DuBois youth programs

Farmers National Bank has contributed $3,500 in support of Penn State DuBois youth programs through a Pennsylvania state tax credit program. The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program is administered by the Department of Community and Economic Development, and allows businesses to contribute to specified educational institutions in lieu of regular state tax payments. Specifically, EITC requires that businesses support scholarship funds for youth. Farmers has participated in the EITC program since the first year it was offered in 2001.
