OTA program at Penn State DuBois attends health fair; achieves reaccreditation

The end of the semester is typically a busy time for academic programs, as well as the faculty and students within those programs. That couldn’t be more true for the occupational therapy assistant program at Penn State DuBois at the close of the spring 2024 semester. In addition to closing out the academic year, the program attended a health and wellness fair and celebrated achieving full 10-year reaccreditation status.

Penn State DuBois baseball crowned PSUAC champions; preps for world series

Dominant. That is how you could describe the season Penn State DuBois had within the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference. Winning 19 of their 20 conference games, the Nittany Lions entered the conference playoffs as the number one seed on the western side of the bracket. They lived up to that seed, winning three games in a row to secure their second straight conference championship.

Penn State DuBois library helps students de-stress before finals week

The week leading up to finals week can be a stressful time for students at any higher education campus. To help students at Penn State, University Libraries across many of Penn State’s campuses, including Penn State DuBois, offered many stress-reducing activities to help students relax as they prepared for final exams and end-of-semester projects.

Penn State DuBois baseball advances in PSUAC playoffs

After ending the regular season with a 30-9 record, Penn State DuBois baseball entered the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) playoffs as the number one seed on the western side of the championship bracket. Being the number one seed earned them the right to host first round games at their home field, Showers Field in DuBois, on April 27.

Penn State DuBois baseball and softball teams closing out regular season

Although some cooler morning temperatures might make some think about the start of the spring sports season, the reality is that the end of the regular season for spring sports at Penn State DuBois is upon us. With the championship playoffs in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference on the horizon, the baseball and softball teams both looked to close out their conference seasons on a high note.
