Parizek receives Faculty Scholar Award

Penn State DuBois Associate Professor of Mathematics and Geosciences Byron Parizek has been honored with the University College Faculty Scholar Award. In its inaugural year, the award will be given annually to a full-time or part-time faculty member in Penn State's 14-campus University College system who has demonstrated excellence in research, scholarship and/or creative accomplishments. It is also in recognition of significant and sustained contribution of research, scholarship and creative accomplishments accumulated during their employment at Penn State, as well as with undergraduate students, and to those who have had a significant impact on their academic field of study.

DuBois to host 2018 and 2019 USCAA Small College World Series

The United States Collegiate Athletic Association recently announced its 2018 and 2019 baseball and softball national championships will be held in DuBois. The USCAA Small College World Series will be hosted by the USCAA national office in conjunction with the city of DuBois and Penn State DuBois.

Mondi named marketing specialist at Penn State DuBois

Chancellor M. Scott McBride has announced that Jessica Mondi, of DuBois, has assumed the role of marketing strategy specialist at Penn State DuBois. She is preceded in this position by Matt Checchio, who has accepted a position as an instructor in marketing with the Smeal College of Business at University Park.
