The Center for World University Rankings has released its 2013 ranking of the top 100 degree-granting institutions of higher education, including Penn State on its list at #50, a substantial leap from #64 in 2012.
Penn State University as one of the top 50 National Universities (#46), one of the Top Public Schools in the country (#13), and boasts top rankings in Earth Science (#6), Engineering (#25), and (#49) in Business.
Penn State is the #1 overall institution of higher education for producing the best prepared, most well-rounded graduates who are most able to succeed once hired, according to a Wall Street Journal survey.
President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll
Penn State DuBois named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). This designation is the highest honor a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service-learning, and civic engagement.
