The LaunchBox Matching Program was designed to provide an operating endowment for each Penn State campus LaunchBox. Gifts to each LaunchBox operating endowment were matched by Penn State up to a total of $1 million, providing a $2 million endowment. Multiple donors were able to contribute and receive matching monies up to the $1 million total from Penn State, however naming rights were reserved for a single donation of $1 million.
