Let’s Get Down to BUSINESS
Why is knowing about business important? Because business makes the world go around. Whether it’s corporate business, government business, the business of helping other via non-profit organizations or starting your very own business, Penn State DuBois can help. We offer a variety of degree and certificate options for students who want to excel in business.
At Penn State DuBois, you’ll not only learn the details of doing business, you’ll learn about business ethics, accountability, reasoning and most importantly, thinking outside of the typical business box. In fact, you’ll learn to throw the box away.
Majoring in business prepares you to work in a variety of settings including business, government, and nonprofit. You will learn how to negotiate, improve your written and oral communication skills, think strategically and act responsibly, solve problems in teams and pursue your individual dreams, make and present a solid business case, and apply your knowledge in a working environment.
Business is booming for graduates with a business degree...it’s the most popular bachelor’s degree in the country.
Bachelor's degree (BSBCC) and Associate degree (2BACC)
A business degree is one of the most sought after degrees in the United States for new students as well as those who are already employed. The infinite number of employment opportunities available in the public and private sectors make a business degree a challenging and highly rewarding choice.
Penn State DuBois offers both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (BSBCC) and a 20 month Associate Degree in Business Administration (2BACC). Graduates with the Associate degree have the option of continuing on to the BSBCC degree with no loss of credits.
Penn State DuBois provides the opportunity for students to earn the 2BACC and the BSBCC on a full-time or part-time basis. Classes are offered both in day and evening sessions.
