To say that Penn State DuBois basketball senior guard Jaiquil Johnson had an outstanding week would be an understatement. After helping his team to two important wins within the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC), including knocking off the No. 1 team in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) men’s basketball rankings, Johnson was named the PSUAC and USCAA men’s basketball player of the week.

Sarah Pierotti, assistant professor of human development and family studies at Penn State DuBois, was recently featured in a nationally published article that addressed the topic of the best states in which to raise a family. Published through WalletHub, Pierotti was one of six experts that shared insights from their personal experiences and expertise to help rank the best states in 2024.
Passing the midpoint in January means that the men’s and women’s basketball teams at Penn State DuBois are starting down the stretch run as they both continue their push toward the Penn State University Athletic Conference playoffs. The final full week in January and the entire month of February will see both the Nittany Lions and Lady Lions play a busy schedule leading into the postseason.
The Penn State DuBois Office of Student Engagement will welcome students and members of the public to Hiller Auditorium on Thursday, Jan. 18, to experience the unique sounds of The Trills, a six-member a cappella family with a passion for performance, collaboration and creating unforgettable experiences for everyone.
Students, faculty and staff across all Penn State campuses will now have free access to virtual technology programming provided by the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania (TCCP), thanks to a newly expanded partnership with TCCP spearheaded by Penn State Harrisburg, a longtime member of the council.
