Penn State DuBois golf team improves record on the road

DUBOIS, Pa. — The Penn State DuBois golf team had a busy week with tournaments at Penn State New Kensington and Mount Aloysius.

The team played a nonconference invitational on Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Summit Country Club hosted by Mount Aloysius College. A total of 15 teams were entered in the event, which was won by LaRoche College. Penn State DuBois finished in seventh place with a team score of 322.

Scoring for Penn State DuBois were Colin Moore 79, Alex Acree 81, Jordaon Tosh 81, Brandon Mancuso 85, Espy Reinard 86, and Brandon Orsich 87.

At the New Kensington Invitational Tournament on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Spring Church, DuBois recorded two wins against Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) opponents, improving to 24 wins and six losses.

The golf team is back in action at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 25, at University Park for the PSUAC White Course Tournament.
