Penn State DuBois faculty and staff celebrate 285 combined years of service

On Wednesday, April 20, faculty and staff gathered in the DEF Building to enjoy lunch and celebrate service anniversaries for Penn State DuBois employees. Jungwoo Ryoo, chancellor and chief academic officer, presided over the event, thanking each person individually for their contribution to the campus and commitment to the University.

DuBois students place service above self over spring break

Penn State DuBois' alternative spring break (ASB) trip made a triumphant return this year, marking what would have been its 15th year, after a moratorium due to COVID-19. For the ABS trip, eight students in the "Foundations: Civic and Community Engagement" class participated in service activities in the Pittsburgh area.

Penn State campus climate survey to close on April 22

Penn State's sexual misconduct climate survey will close on April 22. The survey was sent to a random sample of students at all Penn State campuses; students can check their Penn State email for a link to complete the survey. The University-wide survey is designed to assess issues of sexual assault, misconduct and harassment.

Scott sets PSUAC record for strikeouts and mid-week update

Surpassing former Penn State Beaver pitcher, Vanessa Jackson, Penn State DuBois softball player Lizzy Scott, a senior from Morrisdale, Pennsylvania, broke a new record Monday with the most strikeouts in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference with a total of 456 strikeouts to date in her softball career.
